FATE
BY ANNA STRATE
Where does fate come into play?
Living our lives from day to day.
What would’ve happened if this?
Things run through my mind I dismiss.
How do you know when things are real?
Is there any control in what we feel.
How do we choose the correct path?
And be sure not to feel fate’s wrath.
Left turn, right turn which to choose.
One you’d win the other you’d lose.
Is there something lending a hand?
Or are we all just grains of sand.
My mind keeps thinking things over.
I’d be better off with a four leaf clover.
Over analyze very single thought.
I’m completely confused and distraught.
It will all work out I tell myself.
I must keep my worries on a shelf.
If there is such a thing as fate,
Where on the scoreboard would I rate?
