DESERT OR SHORE

A storm in my heart is brewing

Darkness takes over completely

Love I lost, I stopped pursuing

Had no idea it would again find me.

How can I express what I’m feeling?

My soul is caught between two realities.

In my mind my thoughts are reeling.

My life seems full of complexities.

How is it I came to this road?

The fork is there now, wasn’t before.

Signs rushing by now have slowed.

Which will it be desert or shore.

One road will lead to a life unknown.

The other I have traveled in the past.

Old love lost, this time has shown.

The spell of new love has been cast.
