A spam banning frenzy is in full effect – DE-EVO-lution rules the day. Now, it’s more important than ever to run away form serving up junk and instead focusing on building quality real content internet sites!
Oh no! The human reviewer has got your web page within their hot little hands and is going to read your words and look over your web site! Sounds like I am just referring to the DMOZ Open Directory or even the Yahoo Directory, but I am referring to Google and Yahoo!
It’s no secret, Google, Yahoo and even MSN are banning web sites in record numbers and it’s not just through the help of filters and algorhythms. In their mission to offer only the best top quality search results to their visitors, the major search engines are adopting directory-like human reviewing techniques!
Search engine listings have employees whose primary job is to surf the web trying to find spam and so they can push some control and ban every internet site they come across they feel really should not be on the first page.
Mainly in the top with their lists for human review are websites that will get complaints (usually AdSense type sites) alerted by web forms on the search engine listings that permit do-gooder surfers to easily report websites and point for them as spammers. Some individuals even volunteer to rat on spam sites. And if that’s insufficient, there exists a good chance your competitors will put your sites with the ringer and in case they uncover any spamliness they will rat you.
Actually, it’s very likely that it must be the competition which is fingering the sites to get banned because they may be angry at losing the top position to your competing marketer. The sole solution would be to play from the rules! Wait – you can find no published rules… just a mantra that says do no evil…
But what about the people who make internet sites with good intentions? They’re not evil. They just don’t keep up on all the top talk about this sort if thing plus they make some mistakes like repeating keywords excessively.
And SEO aka Seo – I recieve the feeling that THEY (Google) think this can be EVIL. SEO optimizes pages for better rankings. We should not do this – should we
Well – it’s not immoral or unethical so I’ll increase against the big G and say YES we should do those activities… but we must remember that some human reviewer may not agree with us and push the button and banish us! Ouch! That hurts!
It’s just unsafe to employ borderline techniques nowadays. Overly hyped up pages with way too many ads or JUST AdSense may look like strictly commercial. That in itself is not bad, however they want encyclopedias to rank on top too. Not just commercial pages.
The reason is really pretty obvious if you try to find out things through the search engine’s perspective.
What’s happening is that there are numerous huge amounts of web pages out there that the major search engines have a progressively difficult period of indexing and cataloging each of the webpages their crawlers are spidering. Combine the large growth of the net with all the proliferation of webmaster software that can build 1000s of junk pages in the push of the mouse, and you’ve got a bulging inventory of website pages.
Those machine generated junk pages are clogging the hard drives and servers of the major search engines.
The truth is that the people who are the customers of the major search engines, have already been complaining quite vocally that too many website pages that appear on the first page in the search engine rankings are simply website pages with links to many other web pages. Junk directories with scraped search results. Created for AdSense (MFA) sites that are looking nothing more than an advertisement click.
You know what I’m talking about. Put simply, the automated in your face commercial junk is which makes it unpleasant and often hard for the search engine customers to locate real content website pages.
So… to have their customers from looking elsewhere, all the search engine listings are actually aggressively blacklisting garbage web sites and removing them from their indexes.
Webmasters beware, search engines like google are cleaning house as well as the free ride has ended. That means that the zillions of machine generated junk pages, that are presently an epidemic, can no more make webmasters money like they employed to, if kdrevv money at all.
There exists a better way though, plus it actually has a long term profit stream attached…. real content web sites! Yes, why not build web sites with real content that can last the test of energy? Why build junk sites that can bite the dust once you can invest some time on things that last? That’s the ticket! Build sites that last!
